Kurume varieties, 70-120 cm / 28-47 inches tall, are crowned with grand combs of vivic colors. They have very high tolerance of heat, drought and disease, and are prized for summertime cut flower use. Dense planting, spaced 10-15 cm / 4-6 inches apart will produce smaller combs and thinner stems.
